My husband, 9 year old and I spent a night here for a mini getaway. We wanted to stay in Newport but the rooms were too expensive. This is a great alternative. It's an easy drive to downtown Newport and the mansions. It's also an easy drive to a number of restaurant and shopping options.
The hotel is a typical Hampton. Clean with a decent room and free breakfast. There is also an indoor pool and hot tub and a workout facility. Wireless is free in the room.
All in all a quite satisfactory stay.

Great location - 15 minutes to mansions, walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Great value and good accommodations for the area.

As soon as I approached the front desk I had a good feeling about this Hampton Inn. Friendly staff and very helpful. The room was very clean and had all amenities needed. A refrigerator with a little but sufficient freezer included. Lots of pillows, extra bedding in closet and more towels than I would need but now I don't have to call the desk for more was our attitude. A little further from Newport than I would prefer but not so far that I would never stay there because of it.

A beautiful Hampton Inn with lots of space and an upscale feel! The room was spacious, with the all-important microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker in place. The breakfast was excellent and very well staffed. The breakfast room was large enough to accommodate a late-July tourist crowd. Hotel staff was very pleasant and professional.
